PARAISO’S TEQUILA BRANDS

Our mezcaleria has a variety of mezcal and tequila-based cocktails, mezcal and tequila flights, Mexican beer and wine. Here’s an overview of the brands you will find in our Mezcaleria.

CASAMIGOS TEQUILA

Longtime friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman founded Casamigos. Tequila-filled nights with friends is how Casamigos was born. Our idea was to make the best-tasting, smoothest Tequila and Mezcal that didn’t have to be covered up with salt or lime.

Casamigos was created by master distiller in Jalisco, Mexico for years, and held many blind tastings until we knew we got it right. We’ve been drinking our tequila and mezcal with friends and family for many years now. It was never intended to be released to the public. It’s all we serve at our homes in Mexico, so it’s literally our house tequila.

We are delighted that consumers and tequila and mezcal connoisseurs alike enjoy and appreciate the authenticity of Casamigos. This is quality you can taste, so raise a glass with our award-winning spirit.

CLASE AZUL

Clase azul is ultra-aged tequila that is matured for five years, first in American whiskey casks and then in Spanish sherry casks. Each bottle of Tequila Clase Azul Reposado is a true work of art, individually sculpted and hand-painted, and without equal. A unique tequila made in the small Mexican town of Santa María Canchesda, where 100 artisans spend their time creating the bottles one by one.

The process of making this special drink includes the use of organic agave, cooked in old ovens for 72 hours, a period that yields a special sweetness and an unrivaled complexity of aromas and flavours. Their juices are fermented with their own yeasts and subsequently distilled twice, producing an ultra-premium tequila of exceptional smoothness, recognized worldwide as one of the best reposados.

GRAN CENTENARIO

Gran Centenario® has been carrying Mexican traditions and heritage for generations. Since 1857 we have made tequila the traditional way – by selecting and harvesting only the finest agaves, roasting them in traditional brick ovens, and conducting a slow distillation process in small batches. Artfully crafted in the highlands of Jalisco, you can taste the tradition in every sip.

DON JULIO

Our story began in 1942, when a young Don Julio González saw a unique opportunity in the production of tequila. He didn’t have much, but what he did have was passion, and after sharing his vision with a powerful local businessman he was granted a loan to create his first tequila distillery. It was this unrelenting passion for excellence that inspired his creation of the world’s first luxury tequila.

Don Julio González revolutionized the world of tequila by choosing quality over quantity, painstakingly planting each agave further apart to allow proper room to grow and fully mature before harvesting. He would then select only the most succulent portions of the piña, before steaming them for 72-hour cycles.

When it came time to bottle his creation, he broke with generations of traditionally tall Tequila bottles typically hidden under tables. He knew his new spirit had no business hiding on the floor, so he designed a shorter tequila bottle for his guests to pass around the table while still being able to see each other.

CODIGO 1530

The Código 1530 founders value the time-honored art of premium tequila and mezcal making and the natural evolution has brought them to join forces to refine and bring two new premium mezcals to the market: Ancestral Mezcal and Artesanal Mezcal.

With an appreciation for the skill and patience needed to create an authentic, high-quality spirit, the Código 1530 mezcals have flavor profiles that are smooth on the palate, with subtle smoke to sip alone or layer into an interesting cocktail.

MILAGRO

Milagro Tequila was founded in 1998 by two wide-eyed college friends who decided to take a chance and create a tequila that reflected the bright, vibrant, artistic world of Mexico City. To bring their vision to life, they sought out Pedro Juarez, one of the most distinguished Master Distillers in Mexico. For Pedro, creating a modern tequila meant taking full use of tradition - starting with the agave itself.

TRES GENERACIONES

Don Ceneboio Sauca founded the Sauza tequila distillery, La Perseverancia and was the first to export tequila outside of Mexico, helping it to become one of the world’s greatest spirits. The second generation took over the family business and brought it to new heights, massively expanding the business and championing the name and birthplace of the spirit as ‘tequila’ when exporting to America. Don Francisco Javier Sauza, the third generation, was the first global ambassador for tequila. He crafted a small batch of tequila to commemorate his family’s 100 years and three generations of wisdom in making and skill in tequila-making. Don Francisco was the one who created tequila as we know Tres Generaciones today.

ENEMIGO

Tequila Enemigo was born out of difference, not conformity, and a relentless focus on quality. Most Premium Tequila emerges from ruthless opportunism. They see a gap in the market, cobble together a sub-par spirit with a low-quality taste and get a familiar face to endorse it. Enemigo takes a stand against style over substance. To be the enemy of this reality.
